It was just a good pick for a cursory stop in Santa Fe with good price value. The beds were very comfortable, making it a pleasant stay. Bring ear plugs to deal with the street noise.

Perfect for a family getaway
the bar was lively with great vibes and live music and the grounds had this beautiful retro design that made you feel like you were in a different era
it wasn't inexpensive but it was excellent enough to justify the cost

charming atmosphere with room for improvement
The decor throughout the hotel impressed me with its retro southwestern style, creating a vibrant atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the lively bar area where we experienced great live music during our stay.
The breakfast options could be more diverse, especially considering the food truck setup.

We had a great time exploring the historic Turquoise Trail during our stay. The scenery was beautiful, and the trip was perfect for us and our two teenagers, who enjoyed the adventurous vibe of the road. The grounds were unique and lovely, adding to the charm!
My kids wished there were more games or activities for them at the hotel, especially in the evenings after our outings. A game room or outdoor sports area would have been a fantastic addition for families.

The El Rey Court offered a delightfully charming atmosphere with its retro decor. I loved the king bed. it felt perfect for sleeping soundly after long days. The personal patio outside my room was a nice touch, ideal for morning coffee. The landscaping throughout the property felt lush and inviting, providing cozy spots to relax. However, I encountered a few issues. The HVAC system in my room was quite loud, disruptively so at times. I noticed some maintenance oversights, especially with the fire pit being out of propane, which was disappointing since I looked forward to using it. Also, there was a flickering entry light that contributed to a sense of neglect in upkeep. Despite these inconveniences, the ambiance and comfort made my stay enjoyable.
